PHA Version 2.2. Released 08/09/2021

A new version of the DoD PHA is now available in MODS The MODS contractor successfully deployed the 082021 version of the DoD PHA at 09:00 on 9 August, 2021. Any Soldier completing a new health assessment will do so using the new version of the PHA form. Soldiers who started their PHA on the 2016 version of the PHA will be allowed to compete their PHA using that form until a date to be determined. At that time any incomplete forms will be archived. Some of the features in the new version of the PHA include: Gambling questions in the behavioral health section, additional questions in the family history and lifestyle sections, and sickle cell traits questions. Profile Condition Time-out Changes

The time-out limits in the e-profile application have been changed from 365 days to 180 days for the following profile condition states in order to improve process flow and data quality: - Permanent profile condition “pending 2nd signature” - “RETURNED” permanent profile condition if not resubmitted Profile conditions in the above states will be archived in the e-profile application. Ongoing analysis of the time-out limits will determine and additional changes in the program logic.
